This one day workshop will look at numerical and optimization problems arising in engineering and other areas, their analysis and solution using exact and approximate algorithms. The workshop is aimed at PhD students and post-docs working in these areas. More experienced contributors are welcome. Further information regarding invited/plenary speakers and other arrangements will be provided later.
